The Carfax has just 31 uniquely furnished and individually heated rooms, all of which are en suite with either a bath or shower, or more often both.

All the rooms are equipped with:

Tea/coffee making facilities
Direct dial telephones with modem ports.

Unlike a chain-owned hotel, Carfax's bedrooms are not decorated to one single scheme, but individually, to retain character and reflect its size and location. The happy consequence is a charming diversity leading to our room grade system.

The three grades of room; Standard, Plus, and Superior relate to their relative size and location. The superior and plus rooms, like room 27 (above-left), tend to be on the first and second floors with comfortable proportions and distinctive high Georgian ceilings and enormous sash windows. We are sure you will be able to find a Carfax room to suite your needs and pocket, and make your stay pleasant and comfortable.
